Family Membership

Provides use of all club facilities by all members of the family, including all dependents that reside at home and are under the age of 24. Unmarried children older than 24 may be added for an additional charge (25% of family membership).

Paid by check: $1,100.00 ($1,189.38 with tax)
Paid by credit card: $1,135.69 ($1,227.96 with tax)

Senior Membership

Provides use of all club facilities by seniors who are 62 years or older and their children that reside at home and are under the age of 24. Please provide proof of age for senior status.

Paid by check: $550.00 ($594.69 with tax)
Paid by credit card: $567.84 ($613.98 with tax)

Individual Membership

Provides use of all club facilities by one individual. This option is available to anyone 14 years or older.

Paid by check: $550.00 ($594.69 with tax)
Paid by credit card: $567.84 ($613.98 with tax)

Inactive Membership

Allows any member to put their membership on hold for one year. This reserves your spot as a member and allows you to return to the club the next year without incurring a bond fee. All inactive memberships lose the use of the facilities and the right to vote for the year when they are inactive.

Bond

Each membership unit is required to purchase a non-interest bearing, non-refundable bond. This bond represents your share of ownership of the club, as long as you are an active, paying member. Ownership rights end when you resign or if your membership is revoked.

Paid by credit card: $412.00 ($445.48 with tax)

Babysitters

If you wish to have a non-member babysitter accompany your children while at the club, an additional season pass can be purchased. The babysitter may not be present at the same time as the primary guardians.

Cost: $200 + ( 216.25 with tax)

Guests

Any members are allowed to invite a guest to the club. Any guest who resides in Dutchess County can be invited a maximum of five times in a season. Guests will be billed to the member account and cannot be paid for with cash.

Cost: $11.09 ($12 with tax) per guest per visit.

Work Participation Program

In order to keep costs at a minimum and maintain the spirit of a member owned club, the club relies upon a work participation program. Various opportunities are available to match member skills and interests. The current number of work hours for a family membership is 10 hours; all other membership types require 5 hours. Hours not worked are billed at the rate established for the year. Members are encouraged to participate as this provides an excellent opportunity to get to know other club members.

Work assessment hours not completed will be billed at the end of the current season. The completion of work assessment hours is the responsibility of the members. New members are exempt from work assessment for their first season, but are encouraged to get involved. Many members devote countless hours above and beyond their assessment to ensure the smooth running of the club. All members benefit from the efforts of these individuals.

Please note: While there are many opportunities for work assessment, the opening of the club is an overwhelming task that requires many hours. Please consider setting time aside in April and May to help get the club ready for Opening Day.

Members that do not complete their work assessment hours will be billed in September for the following:

Family Work Assessment: $450.00
Senior Work Assessment: $225.00
Individual Work Assessment: $225.00

Late Fee assessment: $25.00 per invoice not paid within 30 days of the date of the invoice.

Apply for Membership

You may apply for membership by emailing the completed membership application (PDF) and all appropriate forms to the Business Manager, or by mailing a hard copy to: Hyde Park Swim and Tennis Club Inc, PO Box 223, Hyde Park, NY 12538.

There is no residency requirement to become a member!

Please fill out the application completely and your application must be accompanied by payment (checks/money orders must be mailed immediately after submitting the application via email, or must be accompanied by credit card authorization form). A signed Waiver Of Liability And Hold Harmless Agreement MUST accompany your application as well. Checks and money orders should be made out to Hyde Park Swim and Tennis Club. As soon as your application is processed you will be notified.
Contact the Business Manager for more information. No cash will be accepted at the club. All fees will be refunded if your request for membership is not accepted.
